Breaking: Ondyey banned by Gamer Club AC for radar hack
The BLAST Rising North America Spring 2025 Open Qualifier only started three hours ago and there has already been a major surprise as a mixteam by the name of Junga has been disqualified after ESEA Advanced player Andrew "ondyey" Novik was banned by the Gamer Club anti-cheat for alleged radar hacking.
ondyey and Junga began their run in the qualifier against Mexican ESEA Advanced side MarcaRegistrada, besting the squad 13-7 on Dust2. They would then go on to face Akimbo in round two where the match was suddenly canceled as seen below in Yizhi "zy" Zhou's tweet, with a Gamers Club admin telling the server the platform's anti-cheat had detected a cheat on ondyey's system.
Dust2.us reached out to a Gamers Club source who confirmed ondyey was banned automatically by Gamer Clubs anti-cheat after the system detected he was using radar hacks.
The Junga lineup in the BLAST Rising North America Spring 2025 Open Qualifier consisted of:
-
Andrew "ondyey" Novik
-
Kiryl "SlooKy" Misiukevich
-
Illya 'supa" Filanchuk
-
Kiryl "seNsite" Sytsevich
-

ondyey's teammate SlooKy has taken to X to plead his case, saying the team have appealed the case. Dust2.us will update the story should there be any relevant updates.
Update: Note that an earlier version of this story claimed Ondyey was banned for wallhacking, however after further consultation with Gamers Club Dust2.us has confirmed he was in fact banned for radar hacking. We apologize for the inadvertent error.
