BLAST Bounty Season 1 hunters select their LAN quarterfinal opponents

The quarterfinal matchups of the BLAST Bounty Season 1 LAN finals have been finalized.

BetBoom, as the highest of the low seeds, got their pick of all four high seeds, and chose to challenge G2. Both analysts Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg and Jacob "Pimp" Winneche predicted this in the pre-show, based on the notion that G2 has looked a tad shaky in their first event without Nikola "NiKo" Kovač.

With G2 off the board, paiN targeted NAVI, with Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt owing the decision to the current map pool. With only two choices left, Eternal Fire picked Vitality, opting to avoid facing Spirit in the first round. This left Heroic with no choice but to face the reigning Major champions.

The quarterfinal matches at BLAST Bounty Season 1 are:

• Eternal Fire vs. Vitality

• HEROIC vs. Spirit

Spirit vs. HEROIC will kick off the quarterfinals on Jan. 23, at 10:00AM.
