ESEA Advanced Season 51 reaches playoffs

ESEA Advanced Season 51 has reached playoffs, with 24 teams set to compete for a single direct spot in ESL Challenger League Season 49, ECL Relegation points, and the $7,000 top prize in the final ESEA Advanced season of 2025.

This season sees a number of exciting teams in playoffs including the ESEA Advanced "superteams" of Undone and MIGHT, the retooled Final Form roster, Braxton "Swag" Pierce's Vibe lineup, regain, the new-look InControl roster, and Alter Iron Club.

Josh "steel" Nissan's Undone squad secured the first seed for playoffs after a fantastic 12-2 season. They are the favorites as the squad features some of NA's best like Ian "motm" Hardy and Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk alongside the veteran duo of steel and Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham. Another squad to watch out for is MIGHT who in a similar vein to Undone consist of highly experienced former ECL players. The MIGHT squad will be looking to lock in a Relegation spot at the very least and secure passage to ECL after finishing ESEA Advanced Season 50 in fourth place.

HoleSmokers are also a squad worth paying attention to as Mitch "gloRinsz" MacInnis and Daniel "roca" Gustaferri defied expectations and led their young lineup to a 10-4 record despite parting ways with Unjustified and completely rebuilding this season.

Final Form is definitely worth paying attention to as well, with the squad being the most promising of the "next generation" of teams to come into vogue in CS2. Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz and co. are strong contenders in the division with a 10-4 record and will aim to build off their top six finish last season.

Vibe may also be a fan favorite as it will be a real throwback to see Swag leading a mixteam of former ECL and top Advanced players.

Outside of these squads there are a ton of great ESEA Advanced squads that should be able to mix it up with the best this season. With upsets and Cinderella stories being the norm in the division this season will definitely be interesting.
