FlyQuest RED drawn into group with Imperial fe in ESL Impact S6 Finals

ESL have announced the opening matchups and groups for the ESL Impact Season 6 finals in Stockholm, seeing the sole NA representative slotted into Group A alongside Fluxo Demons, NAVI Javelins, and ESL Impact juggernauts Imperial fe.

The presence of the five-time ESL Impact League champions Imperial fe alongside Fluxo Demons and NAVI Javelins promises a difficult route for Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie and co. as they look to make the playoffs at the finals for the first time in three seasons.

Back in Season 4, FlyQuest RED narrowly missed out on playoffs following an overtime Bo1 loss to Fluxo Demons and a one-sided Bo3 loss to HSG. Last season, Season 5, also saw FlyQuest RED fall short of playoffs as they fell to BIG EQUIPA in an overtime Bo1 loss before being eliminated by HSG for a second time, albeit in a much more competitive Bo3 series.

With Imperial fe proving to be largely untouchable, FlyQuest RED's best hope is secure an early Bo1 victory over Fluxo Demons to guarantee a spot in the Group A Decider Match regardless of their result against Imperial fe in the Winners Match.

The ESL Impact Season 6 finals are set to kick off on November 22nd with FlyQuest RED set to take on Fluxo Demons at 04:00AM.
