Four spots remain for Knox Esports' $4,000 Tennessee LAN

The new LAN center is looking to have a full house for its first large-scale CS2 event.

Less than 48 hours remain for teams to sign up for Knox Esports' first Counter-Strike 2 LAN event. Knox Esports, a new LAN center in Knoxville, Tennessee, announced its plans to host a regional CS2 event on September 6th. The event will feature a potential total of 16 teams and a $4,000 prize pool.

At the time of publication, twelve teams are signed up for the event, which boasts a $3,000 prize pool. Should four more teams register, an extra $1,000 will be added to the tally, which costs $350 per team.

The twelve teams signed up for the Knoxville LAN are by-and-large mix teams, albeit with some familiar names in the mix. Amped is set to send their Red squad to Knoxville, where James "Gonzo" Madden's 4th Quarter tag has been revived to attend the event as a mix team. At a glance other notable names include Impact players August "MegaGeese" White and Lilith "gadfly Mize, ESEA Advanced players Jake "lect" Carreno, Rylan "Lambchoppington" Douglas, and TeXaSs^.

Around 40 hours remain to signup for the event, with interested teams being able to sign up here.
