Fragadelphia x Tap 2 Day Two Live Blog

After an insane first day of competition that lasted close to 19 hours, Fragadelphia x Tap 2 is back for day two! The final eight spots into playoffs will be decided today before playoffs gets underway later in the day. Stay tuned as Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore is on site at the Tap Esports Center to bring you the news this weekend.

01:54AM - Day two comes to an end

It's been a little while since our pervious update so what you need to know as he head into day three is that MIGHT concluded their series against Amped with a win while timbermen struck down Enigma and MCS on their way into the top four.

Additionally, Fisher Tsunami overcame Penance in a 2-1 series while Slugy’s Shekel Squad felled Derpy A$$ Kids.

With day two concluded, the semifinal matches tomorrow will be:

• timbermen v. MIGHT

• Fisher Tsunami v. Slugy's Shekel Squad

10:22PM - final quarterfinal matches underway

Since our last update Penance locked in a top eight spot with a 2-0 win over Spin The Block. Meanwhile, timbermen mix have started their series against Enigma, Derpy A$$ Kids are on the brink of claiming a 2-0 win over Revel, and MIGHT are playing in the semifinals versus Amped.

We have been busy collecting videos of various results and happening around the venue, here's a select few from the last few hours:

08:08PM - Results come fast and furious

In the 45 minutes a number of key matches have concluded. The group stage has continued to deliver as the Intermediate Enigma squad has forced a third map against Redacted Society.

Meanwhile the Ro16 bracket was quickly progressed, seeing a number of teams secure spots in the top eight. Here is the come list of completed Ro16 matches:

07:15PM - Slugy’s Shekel Squad 2-0 After Hours

Slugy’s Shekel Squad is the latest team to lock in a spot in the top eight after taking down After Hours, winning by way of a 13-3 on Nuke and a 13-10 on Mirage.

07:07PM - Amped v. Take Flyte FRAUDS head to map three

In the playoff series between the two Advanced sides, Amped struck the first blow by taking Ancient 13-11 before Take Flyte FRAUDS answered back with a 13-6 win on Anubis.

06:58PM - MIGHT smash Alter Iron

MIGHT have won the first playoffs series of the night with a 2-0 victory over Alter Iron, winning Mirage 13-3 and Inferno 13-10.

05:09PM - TSM 2.0 take down Sedated

The TSM mixteam have secured a 2-0 win over Donald "SyykoNT" Muir's Sedated mixteam, securing the squad a spot in playoffs.

04:45PM - After Hours through to playoffs

After Hours have come out on top of their three-map series against Cole "xner" McHenry's Boiler Boyz, earning their spot into playoffs.

04:15PM - Decider Match Results Update 1

Here's a quick recap of the completed decider matches, which decide the final eight teams in playoffs:

04:10PM - Blue Otter Karma face elimination

Blue Otter Karma have fallen to Leftovers, exiting their second FRAG LAN without a win.

03:43PM - Matches in progress

Outside of a few PC issues and a power outrage, matches are progressing nicely. Looking at key matches: Take Flyte FRAUDS are currently up a map against Planet Express, Boiler Boyz have pushed After Hours to a third map (xner masterclass), and Leftovers are on course to secure a 2-0 win over Blue Otter Karma.

Elsewhere, TSM 2.0 secured their first map against Sedated, Revels won their series to make playoffs, and Alter Iron bested The Kings Men, making up for loss against Derpy A$$ Kids yesterday.

After a few tech delays to start day two, Fragadelphia x Tap 2 day two is live, with matches getting underway. Eight spots in playoffs are up for grabs and it's sure to be an exciting affair!
