Fragadelphia x Tap 2 Day One Live Blog

Day one of the Chinatown LAN is underway.

Day one of Fragadelphia x Tap 2 is underway, with the first groups arrive to the venue in what is expected to be an exciting day of NA CS action. Stay tuned as Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore is on site at the Tap Esports Center to bring you the news this weekend.

05:31AM - End of day one

What a crazy day, but Enigma have done it, taking down Aura 2-1 after 4.5 hours to secure entry into day two, thus finally bringing an end to day one.

04:42AM - End of on-site coverage

After 18 hours on site, Mnmzzz is headed back to the hotel where he will hopefully see the end of the series before falling asleep.

04:33AM - Gluttons for punishment

These two teams must be gluttons for punishment as the series has been extended to a third map, with Enigma and Aura battling exhaustion to stay alive at Frag x Tap 2.

04:11AM - Overtime again

03:20AM - Enigma take map one in overtime

In a closely contested series, Enigma have taken Nuke 22-18 against Aura. The two teams will now begin Dust2 beyond 3am in order to survive into day two.

03:17AM - Fisher Tsunami secure playoffs

The collegiate squad have locked in playoffs by taking Mirage 13-6 to end their night here at FRAG x Tap 2.

02:17AM - Fisher Tsunami take Nuke

Fisher Tsunami have secured Nuke against Redacted Society, securing Nuke 13-6.

01:46AM - Late night CS action

The remaining matches of Group H will be played off stream so be sure to keep up with the live blog as we follow the action.

12:31AM - It's a marathon, not a sprint

The series between Not My IGL and Overlooked Entertainment really went the distance as the two teams from Group H were unable to get ahead of each other in their extended series. The three-map marathon took the two squads around three of a half hours, with two of the maps going to overtime, ultimately seeing Not My IGL top the series and live to fight another day.

Since our last update the final groups of the night have gotten well underway with the following results coming in:

09:11PM - Derpy A$$ Kids score a 13-0!

The Derpy A$$ Kids mixteam claimed a 13-0 against Alter Iron after dropping map one to the Advanced team 13-11. They now move onto a third map.

08:58PM - Amped make the grade

Amped have locked in a playoffs berth after besting Goslin and After Hours, both 2-0.

08:57PM - Boiler Boyz boil the opposition

Cole "xner" McHenry's Boiler Boyz have lived to fight another day, taking down Goslin 2-0 to set up a showdown against After Hours.

07:45PM - Not My IGL even up against Spin The Block

the series between the underdogs squads of Not My IGL and Spin The Block is set to go to a third map after Spin The Block won Anubis 13-8 before Not My IGL answered back with a 16-14 win on Nuke.

timbermen have taken down Leftovers with a 13-6 on Nuke. They join MIGHT in playoffs.

03:55PM - MIGHT lock playoffs

MIGHT have locked in a spot in playoffs by besting Revel 13-5 on Nuke, becoming the first team at the event to secure a path into the top sixteen.

03:24PM - timbermen take Mirage

timbermen have won the opening map of their match against Leftovers 13-10. The ECL is now one map away from locking in a spot in playoffs.

03:18PM - MIGHT 1-0 Revel

In the second overtime on Anubis, MIGHT have taken the map 19-16 while the action now moves onto Nuke.

02:54PM - Revel force overtime against MIGHT

Revel mix have managed to take MIGHT to overtime on Anubis, the opening map in the series, with both teams aiming to find an early lead in the series that offers a spot in playoffs.

02:51PM - timbermen go live versus Leftovers

timbermen are in the early rounds of their series versus Leftovers, with the timbermen mix currently up 4-0 versus the team on Mirage.

02:08PM - Final opening matches wrap up

The first assortment of opening matches in Group A - D have concluded with the opening matches having the following results:

Revel have secured a quick win over "4 naders and a shite entry" with a 13-5 on Nuke and a 13-7 on Inferno to head to the upper bracket final of Group C where they will face MIGHT.

01:23PM - 13-0, 13-0

MIGHT have answered back to Brain Destroyer's provocation on Anubis by taking Nuke 13-0 absolutely dominating the upstarts with Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue himself only died once in the process.

01:02PM - Take Flyte FRAUDS 2-0 Just Pick One

Take Flyte FRAUDS have taken the first series of the day with a quick 2-0 win over Just Pick One.

12:56PM - Close but no cigar

MIGHT rallied in overtime securing a 16-13 win against Brain Destroyer, denying the upstarts a chance at taking Anubis against the top ESEA Advanced team.

12:47PM - MIGHT???

Might have been pushed to overtime on Anubis by the completely unknown Brain Destroyer team, setting the stage for a legitimately insane upset from a squad of newcomers to the LAN circuit.

12:35PM - TSM 2.0 1-0 Sedated

Results keep coming in, with TSM 2.0 finding a 13-10 Nuke win against Donald "SyykoNT" Muir.

12:33PM - Take Flyte FRAUDS smash Just Pick One on map one

The Revel boys have taken a clean 13-1 win on Anubis, setting the stage for a potential quick and easy win in their first series.

12:29PM - Slugy and co. win map one

Slugy's Shekel Squad have claimed the first map event of the event, taking Nuke 13-8 versus Planet Express.

12:04PM - The stream is here as well

The stream is now also live, with Anthony "AllInGaming" Ferdinando and Buckethead bringing the action.

11:44AM - We're live!

Matches have kicked off finally with four Bo3 kicking off, featuring teams including Blue Otter Karma, TSM 2.0, and Revel.

The stream should also be starting shortly, so stay tuned.

Every LAN is a learning experience and Frag x Tap 2 is no exception, as there are a few delays that have pushed back the start of matches. Stay tuned as the event hoes to get started in short order.
