timbermen lose Russian AWPer

Time for the squad to reform.

timbermen have now lost two of their players with Deni "dea" Ediev departing the squad after Party Astronauts poached Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell. The core trio of Wyatt "snav" Phillippi, Derek "dare" Brown, and Shane "shane" Dressler will need to find reinforcements as they look to finish out the season. The squad sit in 7th place right now with an 8-8 record.

dea had originally joined the then-Badass roster in December 2023 by replacing Kevin "consti" Yi to become the team's AWPer. That change saw the 20-year-old immediately prove himself extremely capable on the big green gun as he finished ESL Challenger League Season 47 with an impressive 1.21 rating over 37 maps, the second-highest rating for an AWPer in ECL.

dea initially departed the roster for unknown reasons just two months ago, telling Dust2.us that he couldn't "say anything yet". It was even more confusing when Elevate CEO Justin Tan also told Dust2.us that he was unaware the team was removing the AWPer.

The departure didn't last long, however. One week later, dea had fully returned to the starting lineup, where he would remain until last evening when he announced his departure.

timbermen will have some work to do as they need to bring in two players to replace both peeping and dea.

timbermen are now:

  • United States Wyatt "snav" Phillippi

  • United States Derek "dare" Brown

  • United States Shane "shane" Dressler

timbermen are set to next play on Monday, September 23rd against E-Xolos LAZER and will need to get their full lineup by then.
