Team Liquid outlast Renegades
The Battle of Team Liquid and Renegades would take place on Cobblestone and would see Renegades start their campaign on the favored T side.
Despite a strong performance in the pistol round by Renegades, an early team kill by Justin "jks" Savage would prove a major folly as they would fall to the Liquid force buy.
Liquid would quickly find their way on to five with Renegades grabbing only one round in between. In the next buy round Keith "NAF-FLY" Markovic would lurk his way out B platform and find a double entry frag to find Renegades' third round.
Despite an early advantage in the eleventh round, Liquid would blunder as Noah "Nifty" Francis was able complete a 1v3 clutch, being allowed to take three individual duals.
The second half would start exactly as the first, with Renegades finding the pistol and Liquid upsetting them with a force buy. Liquid would continue on to string four rounds together, including an impressive 3v5 with Nick "nitr0" Cannela finding three frags, to put themselves up onto 14.
At 6-15, Renegades would find themselves on a full buy, and despite a close flank from Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Nifty was able to find two quick frags, shutting down Liquid to keep his team alive.
Renegades would begin to mount the come back with NAF and jks turning on the burners and both amassing multi-kills, evaporating LIquid. Renegades were one round away from overtime, would find themselves in an early 3v5 situation, but the duo of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and EliGE would break the back of Renegades, denying the comeback, finding three and two frags respectively, taking home the win 16-14
