Unjustified cut Maxuel after five days in latest overhaul

After a tumultuous month, Unjustified have settled on their old roster.

Unjustified have announced the departures of Reece "Orb1t" Brudny and Max "Maxuel" Barutt from their ranks, seeing another change come to the roster after only recently adding Maxuel to replace Andrew "dvrk" Brunken after the latter player left to join DETONATE.

In the duo's place, Unjustified have brought in some familiar faces in the form of Fernando "f0bless" Robles and Dannis "DeKa" Ovcharenko who previously played for the roster for a number of months in 2023 and 2024.

Overall, the past month has been a tumultuous time for the Unjustified roster, with f0bless, dvrk, Orb1t, and Maxuel all leaving the roster in this period. All of this turnover in the roster has had the expected effect in ESEA Advanced Season 50, where the team has a modest 4-4 record, currently placing the team outside of playoffs and dangerously close to relegation territory.

According to Mitch "gloRinsz" MacInnis, the decision to cut Orb1t and Maxuel came down to a desire to play with more familiar pieces, with the incoming duo's schedule opening up the opportunity for a reunion of the old roster.

Unjustified are now:

  • Canada Mitch "gloRinsz" MacInnis

  • United States Alexander "LeX" Deily

  • United States Daniel "roca" Gustaferri

  • United States Fernando "f0bless" Robles

  • United States Dannis "DeKa" Ovcharenko

Unjustified will be in action tonight against Zomblers.
