Lotus lose Celia in further blow to team

On July 18th, Cecelia "Celia" Caton announced her departure from Lotus, striking another blow to the orgless team which saw Mira "mira" Luna and Erin "erin" Luna step down from the team on July 15th. With Celia's departure, the team now only have two remaining members, with Lydia "Fawx" Dalton being the sole member from Limitless Angels' roster last season.

In the X post announcing her departure, Celia said that she lacked interest in playing ESL Impact League this season and would be focusing on playing ESEA Advanced with OutGoing with klimy and Victor "djswang" Zheng, among other players.

Despite losing yet another member, Lotus' manager, Victor "Ink", told Dust2.us that Lydia "Fawx" Dalton and Nikki "Axessor" Sahm are still interested in rebuilding the team. He noted, however, that it is a difficult time for the NA Impact scene, as Season 6 only having one LAN spot for the region has made it hard to find talent.

Another issue affecting the team is the likely loss of their direct Invite to Season 6, having lost their core from last season when they played as Limitless Angels. As such, they will need to play in the open qualifiers to make their way back into the league.
