junior was the only Nouns player in NA's Top 10

junior tops NA FACEIT Season 2

The Nouns AWPer has claimed a hefty money prize

Season 2 of FACEIT has come to an end with Paytyn "junior" Johnson topping the North American leaderboard with 4,560 Elo, to claim $20,000. Right behind him were four members of the Elevate squad, Deni "dea" Ediev, Wyatt "snav" Phillippi, Derek "dare" Brown, and Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell, respectively.

Notably, American rising stars Josh "JBa" Barutt and Mason "Lake" Sanderson finished the season in seventh and tenth place, respectively, with ECL Season 47's Best AWPer, Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich achieving eighth place.

While junior was first on the North American leaderboard, he couldn't get an extra $5,000 as Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was the best player in the world with 4,830 Elo, winning $25,000 as a result. There was a second player with a higher Elo than the NA star AWPer, Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, who finished second in Europe and worldwide to claim $10,000.

In South America, the winner was FURIA's sacrificial lamb, Kayke "kye" Bertolucci, as he finished the season with 4,274 Elo and was awarded $5,000.

FACEIT Season 3 starts on the 4th of July and players with more than 2,800 ELO will suffer a soft Elo reset. With the player-break in full swing, one can expect to see plenty of matches being played between NA's best in the coming weeks.
