Steam launches tool to easily clip gameplay
It has never been easier to now show your friends your latest clutch using Steam's new recording tool that has just opened up in Beta. Aptly called the Steam Game Recording, the feature allows users to easily record gameplay, share clips, and make more out of their own games.
Gameplay recording can be started manually or even done automatically while the footage is stored on the user's harddrive. During "Background Recording", the gameplay is always saved to the user's preferred drive and set within specific parameters for duration and storage. The "On Demand" recording is very simple with manual start and stop.
Clips can also be easily found with markers and other tools that helps players find the moments that they are likely intended to share, so you can skip through most gameplay and find the good stuff.
