Complexity, M80 handed tough group for ESL Pro League S20

NA will have another hard Pro League campaign.

It's more than two months away from ESL Pro League, so you know what that means, the organizer has already seeded all the teams into groups despite several squads still retooling their rosters.

The $750,000 event will be the last iteration of it's kind with partnered teams as we head into 2025 meaning teams like BIG, FURIA, Complexity, and other Louvre Agreement organizations will not have automatic entry into the tournament.

There will be four North American based squads in ESL Pro League this year with Complexity, Liquid, M80, and Wildcard all earning bids. Only Liquid and M80 are placed into the same group while Wildcard and Liquid will be the sole regional representatives in Group B and D, respectively.

Joining the North Americans are our Brazilian friends in Imperial and FURIA, who will be located in Groups B and D as well. Both squads are currently host to a number of rumors as Imperial looks to change up their AWPing situation and FURIA has seemingly acquired Liquid's passive anchor.

Complexity and M80 have both been placed in Group C alongside some heavy-hitters like MOUZ, Astralis, and Imperial. It will be a tough group for the two American sides as they look to get important competition reps in before starting the difficult road to Shanghai for the winter Major.
