OMiT return to CS with G3 signing
Brooklyn-based esports organization OMiT have announced their return to Counter-Strike with the signing of G3, a Mongolian-majority roster based in North America. The signing of G3 sees OMiT pick up their first CS squad in almost a year, having previously hosted Collin "CoJoMo" Moren's squad before they jumped to Take Flyte after less than a month with the organization.
OMiT's decision to invest in G3 comes after the Asian squad have impressed during their time together, notably claiming a second-place finish at Fragadelphia CS/DO 2024 while also securing online qualifier wins over the likes of NRG, Elevate, and Party Astronauts.
The team are also in a strong position to claim a spot in ESL Challenger League Season 48, with the team currently in ESEA Advanced Season 49 playoffs after an 11-3 regular season. In playoffs the team are currently in the upper bracket semifinals after notably taking down Unjustified and Strife.
