Nouns fe looking to extend contracts with Proposal 552

ESL Impact Season 5 North American was yet another upgrade from the past seasons, with more signed teams and even more quality inside the servers. A big surprise has been the Nouns fe squad who qualified for the group phase but ultimately didn't manage to reach the top four during the regular season.

Nouns started supporting the former Category 5 squad back in November 2023, after accepting the proposal from the squad itself, which asked for three months of salary. Since then, despite the three months having passed, the team continued repping the Nouns fe name and brand while not receiving any financial aid from the DAO as it was not part of the proposal.

Thus enters Proposal 552. The squad, led by Jessica "Jesscas" Ngo has now asked for a whole year of support from the DAO members, who are currently showing their interest in helping the team reach new heights. The group is asking for $111,111 which will cover salary expenses for the five players and coach, practice servers and league fees, as well as to help the team create content to further Nouns' brand.

As happened in the past, the decision is in the hands of every Nouns token holder, who can vote on whether or not the brand should support the team. Currently, the team is in a strong position to secure financial support until the end of 2024, as they have eight votes in their favor, with the likes of Peter "ppd" Dager, a former Dota 2 player who won TI 5 under the Evil Geniuses banner, and Sasquatch, founder and contributor of Nouns esports program, endorsing the proposal. the voting process ends in three days.
