ESL Impact Season 5 LAN Finals - Groups and Schedule
ESL Impact Season 5 LAN Finals is set to start tomorrow. The home teams of FlyQuest RED and TSM Shimmer hope to reach the playoff stage, something that neither managed to do during the last season.
The LAN event will be TSM Shimmer's offline debut, as well as the first time the former Nigma Galaxy fe squad will represent another organization. Brazil's Imperial signed the Pigeons team last week. ESL Impact Season 5 LAN Finals is the first event to feature just one South American team after the changes made by ESL earlier this year.
The draw dictated that FlyQuest RED will meet Imperial fe, HSG fe, and BIG EQUIPA in Group A, while TSM Shimmer will have NAVI Javelins, Let Her Cook, and Fluxo Demons as the Group B opponents.
The tournament will begin with the BO1 group stage opening matches. After playing the first set of games, the stage will feature the two winner's BO1 matches to determine the first two teams to advance to the playoffs, and the Group B BO3 Elimination series right after.
