Complexity sent home after just one day in Dallas
This was definitely something for Complexity to move on from. A difficult loss to Liquid on Dust2 to open up their day and then an unfortunate meeting against the world's best team in the elimination match which sees the hometown squad already out of the competition after just twelve hours of play. It's an event where Complexity would not be remiss for their losses against either team, but with both happening on the same day, it is a brutal coincidence that American fans will have a hard time accepting.
Complexity got things started off on their pick of the recently revamped Vertigo, which certainly played out with its new intricacies. The Americans proved that their T-side was highly effective as they secured seven rounds to open things up, but MOUZ would respond with seven rounds of their own in the second half. Two heartwrenching overtimes later and Complexity somehow pulled out as the winners of the first map.
Ancient was even more devastating for an American fan as Complexity went down early on their CT side and only managed to get four rounds on the defense. The second half was more promising once it looked like Complexity was as good as gone. The Americans started their comeback and made things close, only to lose out on the final few rounds, tying the series.
While the first two maps were close, tight affairs, Nuke was anything but. Complexity looked like they were beaten down as MOUZ secured a 10-2 T-side first half. From there, it was just all over. Complexity would eventually fall 13-6 and are sent out of the event in record time.
