Nordavind add m1cks as head coach
After being released by Cloud9 early this spring, Joshua "m1cks" Micks has found a new position on a coaching staff, this time as the head coach of Nordavind.
m1cks started out floating around North American organizations in 2018, with his first big gig being his analyst work with Bravado, followed by brief trials with SpaceStation and Rogue, and another analyst stint with eUnited.
His time with Bravado proved to be the most impactful however, as it was when he made the connection with the South African roster that he would eventually link up with on Cloud9, this time as an assistant coach. He worked under Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen during the Cloud9 South African project, then reverted to an analyst role upon the start of the Colossus project, and finally returned to an assistant coaching position for the last three months of his time with the organization before he was released in early April.
Nordavind are now:
- Daniel "mertz" Mertz
- Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann
- Kevin "HS" Tarn
- Anton "supra" Tšernobai
- Sabit "mirbit" Coktasar
- Joshua "m1cks" Micks (Coach)
Nordavind will play in tomorrow's ELISA Invitational Summer 2021 against SKADE. The team are currently in the 1-0 swiss round after winning their opening matchup against Fiend 2-1 on Sunday.
