GGPR replace JDubs with KmZ
GGPR have parted ways with Johnny "JDubs" Wu and signed Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes. The move marks an unceremonious end to JDubs’ short tenure on GGPR, having only played one series with the team in ESEA Premier Season 37.
In JDubs' sole outing with GGPR, he posted a 0.71 rating, the second lowest on the team, in a 2-0 loss to ChocoCheck that saw GGPR receive a 16-2 beating on Mirage and suffer a close 16-14 loss on Vertigo. Outside of league play, the team also dropped out of ESEA Spring Cash 5 following a 16-12 loss to Advanced squad Pryde.
This move marks KmZ's return to activity after leaving Oceanus on February 24th. His two-month long tenure with Oceanus was relatively uneventful, with the team only winning two series in ESEA Premier Season 36 over GGPR and Mythic. Since then, he has kept a relatively low-profile, playing in ESEA Open Season 37 with ogres 5 — a team consisting of Open and Intermediate players.
With the addition of KmZ, GGPR are now:
- Chase "lowrider" Releford
- Sean "Inseaniac" Morrison
- Brody "BeaKie" Kelly
- Brandon "Sharkie" Ly
- Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes
- Aurele "quick" Hebert (Coach)
- Erich "ninja" Beyer (Assistant Coach)
KmZ will make his debut with GGPR tonight against Recon 5 who are also set to debut Derek "desi" Branchen in place of Tyler "tweiss" Weiss.
