GGPR reel in Sharkie; PDHM add Turismo as a replacement

GGPR have added Brandon "Sharkie" Ly as their fifth for ESEA Premier Season 37, leaving PDHM down to just Brian "Brian2K" Ladron De Guevara and Josh "Spoice" Betters from their roster that originally won promotion to ESEA's top flight. The newly-promoted side will rely on a former GGPR substitute to refill their ranks, Michael "Turismo" Haas.

Both teams now have just two players remaining from their rosters last season and have more or less swapped a third. Turismo didn't see action in ESEA Premier Season 36 with GGPR, however he did stand in for a match in their DreamHack Open January open qualifier campaign. It ended up being a rather lackluster performance, just a 0.86 rating during a double overtime loss for GGPR.

Conversely, GGPR are picking up a key piece of the PDHM puzzle. Sharkie was a huge reason why PDHM advanced through the ESEA Premier Season 36 Relegation bracket, where he posted a 1.24 rating over the course of six maps. However, this stint with GGPR will remain a proving grounds of sorts, as the last time Sharkie was in Premier/MDL was during Season 33 with Thunder Logic and he didn't fare so well, averaging just a 0.91 rating over nineteen maps.

Both rosters are currently scheduled to make their ESEA Premier Season 37 debuts this coming Tuesday at 9PM EDT. GGPR will be facing QcClan and PDHM will face Third Impact.
