BOSS continue their comeback tour | ECL S47 Roundup Day 17
Well, it's been a whirlwind week of action for ESL Challenger League play. The league lead changed hands, BOSS continued their comeback tour after a slow start, and Mythic did their best to remain competitive as playoffs loomed large. There is still a lot of action that has yet to take place, as M80 won't be jumping back into play until May.
BOSS 2-0 Limitless
Man oh man, BOSS are finally getting things clicking once more as they have succeeded in a dominant comeback thanks to their performances this week. Going up against Limitless they were able to continue their hot streak as they crushed their fellow Americans 13-3 on Ancient and then fended off a second-half T-side on Anubis to win 13-9. Justin "FaNg" Coakley looks like he is settling in well into his new side as he was one of the stand out performers in both maps.
Mythic 1-1 Carpe Diem
It was a tighter match for Mythic, but a bounce back game as the streaming squad found a win after being blanked the night before against LAG. Mythic were able to claim Mirage 13-9, but they would ultimately fall 14-16 in overtime while on Nuke. The team remain in the Top 4 in the table so far, but with NRG and BOSS nipping at their heels, it might not last for long.
