Former Rocket duo join BnTeT in Southeast Asian roster
Bigetron announced this morning its entry into the Counter-Stirke world with the Fury squad, a roster led by Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand, who has been out of the game since January. Alongside him, are two very well know names of the North American CS scene, Matthew "nero" Seymour and Christopher "aleph" Froden.
nero and aleph last played with Rocket, when the roster disbanded after Damian "EMIYA" Boulware was banned for cheating and after it was revealed that the team had communicated with the coach during the PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR qualifiers, something that is not allowed.
Recently, nero was seen playing some pugs with BnTeT on Asian servers but still from North America, as the former Rocket AWPer had some ping issues. Whether the American duo will fly to Indonesia, where Bigetron is located, is still unknown.
The team will feature two other South Asian players, Andre "WasteOfAmmo" Yosua Poluakan also from Indonesia and Patrick "Derek" Lacson from the Philippines. The duo played in the Asian RMR with MAG, finishing the event in last after losses against TheMongolz and ATOX.
As for BnTeT, the former Gen.G player's last HLTV-recorded match happened in August of last year, when he was still representing NKT. BnTeT officially left that team in December and is now joining Bigetron Fury.
