WICKED complete rebuild with corn and RiFT

ESEA Main Season 48 champions WICKED have overhauled their roster, bringing on Tommy "corn" Eckhart and Lane "RiFT" Hardesty as replacements for Andrew "Andrew" Burrell and Mason "mason" Watkins, who both left the team yesterday, alongside their coach Aureo today. The additions will look to help Austin "Austin" Meadows' stream team in their first season of ESEA Advanced as the roster has continued its climb up from ESEA Open.

WICKED initially formed in the last months of 2023 as a personal project of Austin, who decided to create a team focused on streaming and content creation à la Mythic. Since then, they have had steady results including a top-eight finish at Fragadelphia CS/DO last month.

corn and RiFT joins WICKED after both leaving 26 Rising, albeit at different times. As that roster really struggled to find success in ESEA Advanced, they will be hoping the mix of veteran players will be able to hit the ground running.

WICKED will debut in ESEA Advanced Season 49 after it starts on April 4th.
