Former Complexity and NRG star links up with BOSS
After a poor few months, including a near-miss to the Americas RMR, NRG elected to make changes, replacing Canadian star Justin "FaNg" Coakley with veteran rifler and Major-winner Timothy "autimatic" Ta. However, FaNg has not been on the bench for long, reaching a temporary agreement to join free agent team BOSS.
FaNg has taken the place of Brett "brett" Rhein, who helped the team become a staple in the top of North American domestic Counter-Strike. Despite being in the North American scene for some time now, FaNg is only 21 years old, and with a strong rating of 1.12 over his time at NRG, it's clear FaNg has a strong drive to compete.
"In NA, a player like Justin doesn't become available often, " BOSS coach Tom "Axed" Ryan told Dust2.us. "While he's not on any permanent agreement to join us, we're excited to bring a Tier 1 playing into our team and help the younger players learn from his experience."
BOSS has had more success recently than NRG, with wins over top squads in ECL and narrowly missing out on qualification berths to LAN events. We will see BOSS on LAN at ESL Pro League Season 19, courtesy of a top-two placement at ESL Challenger League Season 46.
