What to expect from FURIA v. G2
This is not going to be an easy game for FURIA today. They've had trouble facing some tough teams and already had to mentally come back from a difficult Opening Stage where they went down 0-2 on the first day. Today they're hoping to avoid that same fate. Their first big task is going up against G2 who have Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov. FURIA has Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo tho, and he's rolling back the years.
FURIA Fighting Forward
Finally this team gets to fight more and more in this event. A spectacular comeback from 0-2 to 3-2 to secure another spot for the Americas, but now they have their biggest test in facing G2. The stars need to shine brightly and G2 needs to be cold coming into this event. It's possible, but it will be tricky.

G2 coming in cold
G2 is obviously one of the best teams in the world, but they're also coming into this event without being on the same hotstreak as FURIA. We've just watched as Imperial took down Virtus.pro thanks to their experience in the last few days, so it's possible that FURIA can replicate their Brazilian brothers in upsetting another European squad.

Previous Matchups
These squads have played one another four times, with each side coming away with two wins each. FURIA conquered G2 in the PGL Antwerp Major 2022 Major while G2 got their revenge in Paris a year later. Now we're in Copenhagen, so maybe it's FURIA's turn to deliver some payback.
Likely Vetoes
The maps line up somewhat interestingly, with Nuke a potential option on the cards.
