What to expect from FURIA v. KOI

Who expected FURIA to be here? There was only one person who foresaw that FURIA could be out 0-3 and that was NA's own Donald "voo" Parkhurst, besides him, it seemed pretty unrealistic to the majority of the population. However, it's the reality right now. The team is struggling and needs a lifeline if they want to get back into the game. A matchup against KOI, one of the worse European teams at the event, might just be what they need.

FURIA's falling form

Bad in Europe. Good at home. Good in Mexico. Bad in Copenhagen. It's just this up and down, inconsistent form that makes being a FURIA fan so frustrating. The squad has all the pieces that they should need to be a world beater, but they can't put it together in a cohesive manner. Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato remains a bright spot, but he can't do all the heavylifting himself.

KOI's a small fish in a big pond

In being very nice to KOI, they are probably the best of the T2 European teams that are here at the Copenhagen Major. They are a known quantity that can go toe-to-toe with teams like ENCE and Apeks, but definitely beat teams like Sprout and Nemiga. So far at the Major, they're a team that got crushed by SAW and then went to overtime to lose to ENCE. I'm not saying they're bad, but they're not convincingly that much better than FURIA.

FURIA does not have a lot of history right now in their matches played and has only one strong map in Nuke, but considering their performance yesterday, it doesn't look like it matters.
