Rugratz set to attend DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 with cxzi, Sneaky, cJ
Dust2.us has learned from Jeff "RZU" Ngo that Rugratz will be using Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk, David "Sneaky" Polster, and Christopher "cJ" Jones as stand-ins for DreamHack Masters Winter 2020.
Additionally, RZU told Dust2.us that he plans on retiring from CS:GO to focus on VALORANT following the conclusion of the event.
The need for three stand-ins comes after three players left the team in short order, with Adam "mada" Pampuch retiring to focus on VALORANT, Gage "Infinite" Green leaving to join ex-Cloud9, and Justin "FaNg" Coakley joining New England Whalers for their final appearance with the organization.
Two of the stand-ins, Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk and David "Sneaky" Polster, are no strangers to the team, with the former having played with them in IEM Beijing-Haidan while the latter played under the Rugratz banner on two separate occasions. As for cJ, his addition comes as a bit of a surprise as he has never played with any members of this Rugratz mix, nor has he logged an official match since March with Ze Pug Godz; however, he has continued to frequently play FPL, likely resulting in his enlistment.
Rugratz's lineup for DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 will be:
- Jeff "RZU" Ngo
- Koby "kobruh" Higgs
- Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk
- David "Sneaky" Polster
- Christopher "cJ" Jones
DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 is set to begin on November 30th, with Rugratz's first match set to be against Chaos.
