DreamHack Showdown Winter announced
DreamHack have announced the next iteration of their female event, DreamHack Showdown.
The event will feature a reduction in both prize pool and number of teams competing in the final stage, dropping from $25,000 and six to $20,000 and four, respectively. Notably, the European portion of the event has seen $5,000 added to it's prize pool, and remains at six teams.
While the four teams in North America will be comprised of two invited sides and two from open qualifiers, details on said qualifiers are yet to be revealed.
The previous iteration of the event, DreamHack Showdown Summer, predictably saw CLG Red and Dignitas fe clash in the final, with the former side eventually emerging as the victors to claim the $10,000 top prize.
