CeRq will look to return to form after an extended hiatus

Former EG AWPer lands at BLEED

After almost a year on the sidelines, CeRq is back.

Singaporean organization BLEED have announced the addition of Bulgarian former Evil Geniuses AWPer Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov to their lineup. The addition of one of North America's most accomplished import players sees the 24-year-old return to competition after a year away from the game, having taken an extended break from tier-one ventures after being released by EG in January 2023.

CeRq had been a member of Evil Geniuses' starting lineup for nearly two and a half years, having made the jump to the organization alongside his NRG teammates. While the Bulgarian was initially in great form during EG's return to CS:GO, declining performances under the leadership of Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip and Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov led to him being replaced by Jerric "wiz" Jiang.

Following his removal from EG, CeRq returned to Bulgaria and was seen playing in smaller online events with fellow Bulgarian players including former Liquid player Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov, and Yanko "blocker" Panov.

As BLEED look to make the first CS2 Major in Copenhagen, CeRq's match fitness may raise eyebrows, although the potential of seeing HLTV's #18 player of 2019 back in form is an exciting prospect as Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović puts his faith in the AWPer.

BLEED currently consists of:

  • Sweden Hampus "hampus" Poser

  • Josef "faveN" Baumann

  • Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov

  • Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović (Coach)
