corn steps down from 26 Rising

26 Rising's return to CS has been somewhat uneventful thus far.

Last night, Talen "Talen" M. announced the departure of Tommy "corn" Eckhart from ESEA Advanced squad 26 Rising. The former Davenport player's departure from the Detroit-based organization comes only a month after 26 Rising entered CS2, and around three weeks after the team parted ways with Bob on December 6th.

Thus far, 26 Rising's return to Counter-Strike has been largely uneventful, with the squad missing out on ESEA Advanced Season 47 playoffs and placing outside of the money at Fragicago 2023 — albeit after a loss to eventual winners Badass.

corn told Dust2.us that he decided to leave 26 Rising to focus on college and his individual skill level, however he is still open to joining a new team. As for his former team, they are currently looking for two new starters although the remaining players have also expressed a willingness to pursue individual offers.

26 Rising are now:

  • United States Lane "RiFT" Hardesty

  • United States Talen "Talen" M.

  • United States Luke "BeanieHut" Doorn
