Jotting down any open opportunities

EG coach looks to the future

Things are beginning to wind down over at EG.

Evil Geniuses are clearly winding down their Counter-Strike operations as they are letting players leave. A player's mom said they didn't even practice for the ESL Challenger League playoffs, and now one of their remaining coaches is departing the organization.

Timothy "autimatic" Ta was the first to reveal that his contract was coming to an end, then Jadan "HexT" Postma departed for NRG, and Joseph "muenster" Lima announced he planned to depart the organization by the end of the year. The former Party Astronauts to EG White to EG Gold coach will leave the organization after joining in June 2022.

A full year and a half with the organization, muenster's crowning achievement with the organization only came three months after signing as his squad won Fragadelphia 17. Since then, the team struggled to earn any competitive opportunities due to a crowded organization attempting to satisfy three teams searching for events, and eventually, they were released. muenster moved on to join EG Gold in August but now looks to be parting ways fully.

In a tweet, the coach revealed that while he still remains tied to the organization through 2023, all competitions with EG Gold have finished and he is now look to explore all opportunities available, which includes event operations. muenster has been a staple of the North American Counter-Strike scene for several years and his first prominent role on Paryt Astronauts in 2019 has propelled him to being recognized as one of the better coaches in the scene.
