T.c to miss ESL Challenger Atlanta
Dust2.us has confirmed with Complexity that Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen is set to miss ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 due to a personal matter. In his place, James "JamezIRL" Macaulay will step into the South African's shoes as Complexity look to win the American homestand as the highest ranked team in the event.
While the loss of the veteran coach will certainly be felt, JamezIRL is himself a highly experienced coach, having worked with a number of high-profile teams in both CS:GO and VALORANT. Atlanta will be JamezIRL's first time on stage in CS after four years, with his last performance being with Cloud9 during ESL Pro League Season 10.
As previously mentioned, Complexity head into this event with an expectation to win the American LAN as the highest-ranked team in attendance. Additionally, after finding a strong run of form in the latter half of the year, the team would love to head into the winter player break with COL's first Counter-Strike LAN trophy in 13 years (yes its been that long).
Complexity will attend ESL Challenger Atlanta with:
-
Johnny "JT" Theodosiou
-
Ricky "floppy" Kemery
-
Michael "Grim" Wince
-
Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli
-
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
-
James "JamezIRL" Macaulay (Stand-in Coach)
Complexity's first match at ESL Challenger Atlanta will be against TheMongolz at 10:00AM on December 15th.
