bLitz is ready to come to A-Town

The Mongolz to attend ESL Challenger Atlanta

The team has made it.

Coming to the United States is difficult. Coming to compete in an esports event in the United States seems to be even harder. With BESTIA having to attend without two of their players, while GamerLegion's Sebastian "volt" Maloș also must miss the trip due to the same issues, all eyes were on Mongolia's The Mongolz.

The organization already missed out on attending the BLAST Premier Americas Fall Showdown and despite qualifying for ESL Challenger Atlanta, those same fears came up once again. In a Facebook post by Mongolian inside kRo stated that The Mongolz still were unable to reach out to the Embassy in Ulaanbaatar in order to obtain a visa. However, less then twenty-four hours later, the same page said that the U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia had reached out to arrange a meeting.

Now, the official page for The Mongolz on Facebook has announced that they have received their visas for the United States. Once again kRo has detailed that the team should be arriving into the country shortly.

It's a relief for the Asian team and American fans who hope to see the squad play in the local event. The Mongolz has been on a rollercoaster ride over the last year and a half since rising to prominence as IHC Esports from March 2022 to April 2023. The team attended the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major, the 2022 IEM Rio Major, and then the 2023 BLAST.tv Paris Major. The squad have also dramatically changed its lineup since attending their first major, only retaining Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren and Sodbayar "Techno4K" Munkhbold.

ESL Challenger Atlanta kicks off this Friday where Dust2.us will once again be in attendance ensuring wall-to-wall coverage of America's premier events.
