Complexity continue making Europe feel like Home Sweet Home with third weekly series win
This weekend marked another victory for Complexity in the Home Sweet Home events that have been ongoing since early April. The weekly series put on by GRID and Relog Media has seen the Dallas-based team crowned as champions three times, in week three over BIG, week four over Secret, and now week six over Heroic.
This week's successful campaign started with a thirty round loss to SKADE in the opening best-of-one on Train, followed by a 2-0 win over Apeks and a 2-1 win over SKADE in the best-of-three rematch to qualify for the playoffs.
Once there, Complexity swiftly dealt Endpoint a 2-0 loss on Vertigo and Nuke, but needed all three maps and a reverse sweep to deal with Gambit Youngsters and make the grand final against Heroic.
In the grand final, it was Valentin "poizon" Vasilev and Owen "oBo" Schlatter that got things off to a quick start for Complexity, each posting 22 kills on Dust2, while Benjamin "blameF" Bremer was not far behind with 20 of his own.
blameF continued that production on Train, contributing a server-high 24 kills to lock up the map, series, event, and MVP award. His 1.34 rating was the highest of the week, even with Complexity having the most maps played.
Complexity will look to extend their streak in Home Sweet Home Cup 7, where they will be grouped with Nordavind, HONORIS, and Budapest Five. Their first match is tomorrow at 6:20AM EDT against Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, Filip "NEO" Kubski, and HONORIS.
