MDL Recap Week 1 - Polar Ace top slow opening week
The first week of ESEA MDL Season 34 has concluded, seeing every team with the exception of Chaos play at least one match.
Currently occupying the top of standings are the recently signed Polar Ace, with the team ending week one with a 2-1 record following wins over Warriors International and Buffdaddy's Paypal Team, while also suffering a close loss to Rugratz.
Two places below them are Infinity, who have come into the season in strong form after signing Joel "tor1towOw" Rios Manrique. They managed to take down Morning Light in a decisive 16-5 win while also taking Recon 5 to double overtime before falling 22-19.
Speaking of Morning light, they currently sit in dead last in the standings thanks to another one-sided loss handed to them by Way 2 French, while also having to forfeit a game to Swedish Canadians due to connection problems.
