Wildcard advance to United21 S7 playoffs

Although Wildcard were eliminated the Thunderpick World Championship 2023 on October 28th following a loss to SAW, their European tour is set to continue as the team have made playoffs in United21 S7. While definitely less high profile than Thunderpick, the European $5k will offer Wildcard a chance to hopefully grab some cash and earn invaluable experience before heading home.

Wildcard's run in United21 S7 began on October 21st when they claimed a hard-fought win over Balkan squad Zero Tenacity, taking them down 2-0, with a 19-17 win on Mirage and a 13-9 win on Anubis. Their next match on October 25th saw Wildcard taken down by Estonian squad sYnck with a close 16-14 loss on Ancient and a one-sided 13-5 loss on Anubis.

This loss would setup a rematch between Wildcard and Zero Tenacity, where Wildcard once again had to pull out all the stops on map one, taking Inferno 19-17 before claiming a fairly tidy 13-8 win on Mirage to make playoffs.

With this, Wildcard will play their first match in playoffs against Sprout Academy on October 31st at 05:00AM.
