Fluxo back off skullz hunt, paving way for Liquid
Liquid are well in the hunt towards making their Americas superteam, with Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken having agreed personal terms with the organization. Liquid is retaining the services of Keith "NAF" Markovic and Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis while allowing Josh "oSee" Ohm to explore his options outside the squad.
The remaining puzzle piece is now Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, the 21-year-old youngster hailing from paiN. While his reported $600,000 fee is just a bit of a stumbling block, it's reported by Dust2 Brasil that the player has already agreed to join Liquid, but details with the contract and fee still need to be finalized. Liquid turned their attention to the player after attempts to sign Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato from FURIA failed.
Other than Liquid, Dust2 Brasil first reported on October 19th that Fluxo was interested in the services of the rising star, having agreed to the buyout fee. However, with skullz refuting the offer once Liquid came around, Fluxo has now decided to move on and are pursuing Richard "chay" Seidy, who is the #1 CS2 Premier player in the world.
chay will replace Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho and is expected to debut on Fluxo this Wednesday when the team plays in CBCS against Flamengo.
Liquid, now with a clear path to skullz, must come to terms on the fee with paiN as the last hurdle before signing the Brazilian. Liquid's rumored roster right now is:
