MAC-51 put down the bottle and become Alcoholics Anonymous
After parting ways with Divine and announcing their intentions to "step away from competitive CS", MAC-51 have retooled their roster for what may be their final season before the release of VALORANT.
Now playing as Alcoholics Anonymous, Brenden "stellar" McGrath and Robert "robby" Brown are joined by Divine stand-in Lucas "Fiziq" Blow and former In The Lab players Damian "droid" Boulware and Matthew "nero" Seymour.
stellar told Dust2.us that the team brought on the trio after Brady "thief" Dever said he would be retiring from CS:GO, while Collin "wrath" McSweegan and Chris "riku" Piasecki left the team due to internal disagreements.
Alcoholics Anonymous are now:
- Brenden "stellar" McGrath
- Robert "robby" Brown
- Lucas "Fiziq" Blow
- Damian "droid" Boulware
- Matthew "nero" Seymour
With relegation set to commence next month, Dust2.us was told that droid and nero will play out the event with In The Lab while Alcoholics Anonymous are yet to determine their roster for the event. With wrath and riku having departed the team's roster over the last 48 hours, the team will need to make use of retired duo thief and Jared "MAC-1" Schneider, Brazilian player Kiyota "guin" Guilherme Tadashi de Loundres, or former Vireo.pro manager Drew "DrewSkii" Jones.
Alcoholics Anonymous will be making their debut tonight against Station7 at 9PM EDT in eFire Master League Season 1.
