stellar and co. are the latest MDL players to look towards VALORANT

Divine release team as players look to new opportunities

For now, the squad will continue to play next season as MAC-51 until the release of VALORANT.

After ending ESEA MDL Season 33 in relegation territory with a 7-12 record, Divine have announced they are parting ways with their CS:GO team and that the lineup plans to "step away from competitive CS".

The news comes as the team have been using Lucas "Fiziq" Blow as  a stand-in for various players for their matches this week. One player told Dust2.us that this is due to the lineup no longer enjoying the game, so they've been fielding whoever is available.

Although various players plan on exploring VALORANT when it releases this summer, they still intend to participate in Season 34 while they await the release of the game.

For the moment, the team have yet to decide to on a starting five moving forward nor have they settled on a name, so will be playing as MAC-51 for the time being.

Therefore, for the moment the team known as MAC-51 has the following players:

  • United States Brenden "stellar" McGrath
  • United States Robert "robby" Brown
  • United States Brady "thief" Dever
  • United States Chris "riku" Piasecki
  • United States Collin "wrath" McSweegan
  • United States Lucas "Fiziq" Blow

Along with planning on playing in ESEA MDL Season 33 Relegation, MAC-51 are also set to compete in eFire Master League Season 1. After a delay to allow for MDL to reach playoffs, the league is set to start on March 16th, with MAC-51 playing against Station7 in their opening matchup.
