Divine add MAC-1
After parting ways with Rahul "curry" Nemani on Sunday, Divine have brought on former Singularity coach Jared "MAC-1" Schneider as his replacement, Dust2.us has been informed.
Since parting ways with Singularity back in September, MAC-1 has played for and coached a number of teams over the past five months including Rap Gang and Rugratz.
Following his exit from Rap Gang at the start of the month he briefly headed a revived Gorilla Gang lineup, playing two matches with them before leaving the team yesterday.
Divine were initially expected to bring on Collin "wrath" McSweegan after he helped the team qualify to the ESL One Rio Americas Minor Close Qualifier. However, a source close to the team tells Dust2.us that they decided not to continue with wrath due to questions about his commitment to the game.
As a result, Divine are now:
- Brenden "stellar" McGrath
- Robert "robby" Brown
- Brady "thief" Dever
- Chris "riku" Piasecki
- Jared "MAC-1" Schneider
Divine are currently competing in ESL MDL Season 33 although they have no matches scheduled. The team are also set to compete in the upcoming ESL One Rio Americas Minor Closed Qualifier on March 6th.
As for Gorilla Gang, Aleksandar "ALEKSANDAR" Hinojosa tells Dust2.us the team currently do not know if they will finish the season together, but for now they intend to keep pugging with friends.
