Complexity utterly demolish Liquid in one-sided series

COL have claimed a comprehensive victory over their former domestic rivals.

In what quickly became a completely one-sided series, Complexity have taken down Liquid in a decisive 2-0 victory to win the BLAST Premier Fall American Showdown, becoming the sole squad from the Americas to earn a spot in Copenhagen for the BLAST Fall Finals.

Starting the series off on Anubis, Complexity's best map at the moment, was certainly a good omen for the Dallas-based squad as, despite losing the opening pistol round and the following round on their T-side the team were otherwise dominant in the first half, winning the half 11-4 after starting things off up 6-2. Moving into the second half, Complexity's dominant momentum continued with Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli running laps around Liquid as he posted a 2.01 on the way to COL winning Anubis 16-4.

Heading onto Inferno, Liquid's map pick, things continued to absolutely go the way of Complexity as they posted another utterly dominant opening half, winning their CT-side 13-2 while also winning the last six rounds in a row. After switching sides, the second half of Inferno ended up being a complete non-event as Complexity won the next three rounds near perfectly to win the map 16-2 and the series 2-0, only dropping six rounds in the process.
