Spongey steps down from WITHOUTWARNING

A key member of the dormant squad has stepped down.

Gabe "Spongey" Greiner has announced his departure from WITHOUTWARNING, seeing the former Bad News Bears player leave the roster he played a role in founding back in April. Spongey's decision to leave the team comes after a lengthy period of near inactivity for the team, as WITHOUTWARNING enter October having only played a single ESEA Cash Cup since mid-July.

Regarding Spongey's sudden departure from his team, he told Dust2.us that he did not feel the team was improving at a rate he was happy with, leading to his departure. When asked whether, he would still like to compete, especially with the release of CS2, Spongey said he would return but only for the "right team" amidst the state of the NA scene.

For WITHOUTWARNING, Spongey's departure has created a sort of crisis for the future of the team, as David "J0LZ" Jolin also announced he would be evaluating his options with Spongey out of the team. J0LZ confirmed to Dust2.us that he is currently considering exiting the team due to the recent changes in the team, however as far as he understands the rest of the squad are still planning on rebuilding with or without him.

WITHOUTWARNING currently consists of:

Saad "Pluto" Siraj
United States Andrew "Tender" Cote
Canada David "J0LZ" Jolin
United States Andrew "Andrew" Burrell

WITHOUTWARNING are scheduled to make their debut in ESL Challenger League Season 46 on October 6th.
