MDL Recap Week 3 - Mythical run continues
It was a week of big debuts for some and a continuation of good form for others. With yet another week of Season 33 in the books, this season's contenders are starting to make themselves known.
After a 16-0 stomp of Station 7, Chaos got their second win, though they needed significantly more rounds to do it this time around. They beat Rugratz 19-16 in overtime in their sole match this week.
Recon 5 got a big upset win over Swole Identity to open their MDL season, but Swole ID would come back to thrash the Colombians of Infinity 16-5 for a 1-1 record across the week.
The story of MDL so far is Mythic, as they continued their undefeated start to the season, dealing Big Frames their first loss and handling the New England Whalers this past Thursday. They'll face Chaos next week to see who gets to stay undefeated.
Week four has promise for some matches that will surely alter the final standings this season, as many (realistic) championship hopefuls are poised to lock horns in the coming days.
