What to expect from Evil Geniuses v. ENCE
Evil Geniuses is stuck in a weird space where the community expectations are that of a roster that can compete amongst the world's best, while having only elevated one of the better North American rosters to the frontlines a few months ago. Colby "Walco" Walsh is leading this team for the first few times against some of the best in the world and at Pro League, he'll have a bit more time to truly test himself. However, they're coming off a North American campaign that has seen them struggle, not giving fans hope that they can come away with an upset or two.
Geniuses outsmarted
The last few weeks have not been kind to Evil Geniuses, with them losing out on the IEM Sydney Qualifier and Thunderpick World Championships to both M80 and Nouns, respectively. Those losses sting, especially when EG is considered one of the top teams in the region. Heading into Pro League, could it be a different story or the same song?

It's always EZ4ENCE
I mean, it's ENCE. They're genuinely one of the hottest teams right now. Evil Geniuses is probably going to get the Vitality treatment, unless they pull some magic out of a hat. 1st at Dallas, 2nd at Cologne, and 2nd at Gamers8 is just an impressive resume in the Post-Major world. It's likely we'll see them continue that progress.

NertZ has lost only one 1v1 since August
-
ENCE has two losses since August, once to Vitality, once to G2.
Previous Matchups
These two teams have never met one another before.
Likely Vetoes
Vetoes will definitely be tough here. As a whole, ENCE shouldn't necessarily try to be picking anything too crazy, but might use this as an opportunity to experiment and get some reps in.
