vanity to stand-in for wippie in WINNERS League
Chaos are set to field former eUnited in-game leader Anthony "vanity" Malaspina in their WINNERS League Season 3 Invite divison matchup against Singularity tonight, taking the place of Maxim "wippie" Shepelev.
Chaos made a change to their roster earlier in the month, bringing on Owen "smooya" Butterfield in place of benched rifler Gage "Infinite" Green. While vanity's addition to the roster is temporary for now, a case can be made for wippie's removal given the player's previously reported need for a P1-visa in order to compete as part of a team in the United States. Dust2.us also knows that wippie is not in Arizona with the rest of the team, a result of the player continuing to attend university in a different state.
vanity most recently was seen competing in the IEM Katowice and DreamHack Open qualifiers as a part of Just For Fun, a mixteam that also contained former Ghost members Matthew "WARDELL" Yu and Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik. Jake "Stewie2K" Yip also played alongside the roster in their Mythic Cup 5 appearance, helping to net the team a victory.
Chaos' roster for their upcoming WINNERS League match is:
- Cameron "cam" Kern
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Ben "ben1337" Smith
- Owen "smooya" Butterfield
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman (Coach)
The match between Chaos and Singularity is currently underway, and can be watched on the WINNERS League Twitch channel here.
