Party Astronauts and FLUFFY AIMERS succeed in fourth ESEA Pre-Season Circuit qualifier

The fourth ESEA Pre-Season Circuit qualifier has ended, with Party Astronauts and FLUFFY AIMERS becoming the seventh and eighth teams to earn a seat at the 16-team North American Final beginning in nine days.

After four days off, the fourth qualifier took place, with a slate of notable teams headlining the 37 lineups fighting for two more seats in the Final. Party Astronauts was the succeeding team in the top side of the bracket, advancing with relative ease before their match versus Mythic. It almost took all 30, but the Astronauts got it done nevertheless, earning the win 16-13. After the tight win, PA took it to ex-BHOP with a dominant 16-3 win to take one of two slots in the next event.

FLUFFY AIMERS looked strong on their path to the Finals, keeping all four of their opponents under ten rounds. Their qualification victory came over a rather impressive Wildcard team that recently took first place and an invite to the Thunderpick World Championship with wins over M80, Nouns, and even FLUFFY AIMERS. FA’s 16-9 revenge victory over Wildcard earns them a spot alongside Party Astronauts and six other advancing teams in the upcoming ESEA Finals event beginning July 30th.

Following the fourth qualifiers, hopeful teams will have four more qualification chances over the next three days. The qualification process continues at a rapid rate as it has the last week, with the fifth qualifier taking place at the time of publication.
