Report: GamerLegion set to use neaLaN for Cologne

While Evil Geniuses will not be attending IEM Cologne 2023, it appears that their former IGL will be doing so as part of GamerLegion. Dust2.us knows that GamerLegion have registered the Kazakhstani IGL for their team, alongside former Into the Breach rifler Sebastian "volt" Malos.

neaLaN had a rough entry into North American Counter-Strike, with Evil Geniuses being unable to produce any sort of strong form throughout his duration on the team. It was decided earlier in the summer that the organization would be pursuing other roster options, allowing the IGL to examine his options in the current market.

While EG eventually settled on using their EG Black roster going forward, neaLaN is seemingly pursuing an international roster in GamerLegion. Following earlier reports that he would be joining the team, Dust2.us confirmed earlier today that he was edging closer to a departure from Evil Geniuses.

Now, that exit seems to have been solidified as of this evening, as neaLaN has been registered to GamerLegion for their IEM Cologne 2023 roster, and will likely continue with them on a permanent basis.

neaLaN will debut with GamerLegion in Group A of the main stage of IEM Cologne 2023, skipping the Play-In as a result of GamerLegion's appearance in the grand final of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
