Warden returns to helm new NA megaproject
In another big announcement for North America ahead of the release of Counter-Strike 2, Complexity legend and former coach Matt "Warden" Dickens has returned from VALORANT to helm a new NA megaproject roster consisting of some of the top names currently in free agency in the region.
The first piece of this puzzle is former Evil Geniuses and NRG IGL Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, who will be reuniting with Warden from their time on Complexity together. stanislaw has been on the lookout for a new home as a player after briefly helping out FLUFFY AIMERS prior to the player break. stanislaw is joined by his former BHOP teammate Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk, with whom he made playoffs in ESL Challenger League Season 14.
Alongside them is Jerric "wiz" Jiang, who is also an EG alumnus. wiz will be looking to prove himself at the ECL level once again after a less than stellar outing after he was called up to tier one with Evil Geniuses' main roster. The other well-established piece on this team is Gage "Infinite" Green, who has been looking out for a new home after leaving Strife in June. Infinite is one of the most experienced ECL players in the scene, having played at the tier two level continuously since 2017 outside of two brief forays into VALORANT.
The last name in the project, Josh "JBa" Barutt, is the least experienced of the quintet, having only played his first season of ECL at the start of 2023. However, the 19-year-old player has been putting up strong numbers, posting a 1.11 rating over 76 maps in 2023 this far.
