Report: neaLaN closing in on Evil Geniuses departure

While the new Evil Geniuses squad is already in Copenhagen, the old Evil Geniuses team appears to be making their separate ways. It has been a turbulent time for the organization as they have had a rough performance in the recent year and have now banked on their young talent to rise to the occasion.

When the squad was benched, it meant that players like Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Will "RUSH" Wierzba, two of America's top players in the late 2010s, suddenly became available. It also means that one of the more interesting pickups that worked out for EG, Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov, would also be available to new teams.

Last week, CIS insider harumi reported that neaLaN was headed to GamerLegion and now Evil Geniuses have confirmed that the former IGL is on his way out.

Sources close to the negotiation confirmed that the organization was "working out some final paperwork", however "all signs point to neaLaN finding a new home."

Should neaLaN join GamerLegion, the lineup will be:
